Zainab Jassem Al Sajwani, Director of the Partnerships Division in the Health Promotion Department stated that the initiative aims to provide health and nutritional information to prevent diseases that an individual may contract.
She added to "Sharjah 24", that several health agencies and specialised doctors participated in the event to nutritional and health consultations that help women maintain a healthy, disease-free life.
Al Sajwani further said that the participating parties distributed free samples of health products and provided tests such as pressure, sugar, and measurement of body mass, which are periodic checks that should not be neglected, as well as free discounts and vouchers to visit health centres, in appreciation of the efforts of Emirati women.
