Sharjah24: Nahla Hamdan Al Saadi, Deputy Director of The Child Safety Department (CSD) of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, stated that the Department seeks to provide child safety from all risks, and an awareness workshop was presented to bus drivers and supervisors entitled "Golden Rules for Riding the School Bus".
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Nahla Al Saadi confirmed that the workshop lasts for two days and targeted on the first day the 450 employees of bus drivers and supervisors in Sharjah, and on the second day 450 employees of bus drivers and supervisors in the central and eastern region. The workshop aims to enhance safety procedures and consolidate the culture of protecting children on the bus and the importance of safety belts for children
Al Saadi added that a number of government agencies participated in the success of this awareness workshop and provided guidance to bus drivers and supervisors to enhance their role in maintaining the safety of children, namely the Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, Emirates Transport and Al Qasimia University.
