Sharjah 24: Through its strategy of strengthening cooperation with local government and private institutions, the "Make a Wish" Foundation was recently able to fulfill the wishes of 5 seriously ill children to obtain the latest electronic devices, in cooperation with Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA).
The Sharjah Aquarium hosted the event by receiving children with a clown and balloons. The children were taken on a guided tour inside the halls of the Sharjah Aquarium, during which they watched the shark feeding show. They also had a rare opportunity to touch a living creature. The children had a wonderful and entertaining time with the play “Mission from the Deep Sea”, along with the educational workshop.
Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of the “Make a Wish” Foundation, thanked the Sharjah Museums Authority and the organisers of the event at the Sharjah Aquarium for hosting a ceremony to fulfill the wishes of ill children, praising their efforts to bring happiness and hope to their hearts by introducing them to the world of the seas and the marine environment in an entertaining and enjoyable manner.
Al Zubaidi concluded his statement by saying: "We are always happy to be able to fulfill the wishes of children with serious diseases that threaten their lives by cooperating with the authorities that seek to fulfill their social responsibilities. I also extend my thanks and appreciation to the benevolent white hands that contributed to the children receiving their wishes. We look forward to more activities that enhance feelings of happiness in the hearts of all members of society."
