Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police launched the "Future Readiness 2022" award, under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The award aims to improve the quality of life by presenting future conceptual studies to meet future challenges.
Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director-General of the Sharjah Police Academy in Sharjah, confirmed the submission of studies participating in the Future Readiness Award 2022 are open now. The award is seen as a prospective study that is different from other studies in the sense that it is based on several various research and strategic standards to positively confront future challenges and contribute to improving quality of life.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Brigadier General Al Othmani said that the award covers several important topics, including the future of transportation, the future of cyber security, the future of drug abuse and combating and rehabilitation of drug users, the future of correctional and penal institutions and rehabilitation of inmates, the future of outsourcing or privatising government services, non-traditional crimes, and the future of work systems.
Al Othmani added that the value of the award amounts to $127,000 and distributed over two categories ( participant winners and jury) and registration has been opened through the link https://www.psa.ac.ae/ pages/shjpolice.
