Basateen Preschool Centre at SLC graduates 16th batch of children

Sharjah 24: Basateen Preschool Centre at Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) held the graduation of the 16th batch of students in a ceremony where 19 children celebrated the end of the last semester in 2022.
The club is keen to share the joyous moments every year with parents and their graduating children from the nursery in celebration of their readiness to enter kindergarten.

Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC), expressed her gratitude for the continuous support received from Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) to achieve the vision set for Basateen Preschool Centre as part of the bigger vision of the Emirate of Sharjah; which is to nurture and embrace the new generations, making it globally renowned for being child and youth friendly.

She also expressed her happiness on the occasion of graduating the 16th batch of children, ensuring the commitment of Basateen Preschool Centre to provide high quality of childcare services by following the highest standards. The management is also mindful of the significant role that the teachers and staff play in the growth and development of the children’s abilities and skills whether socially, mentally and physically.

She also conveyed: “At Basateen Preschool Centre, we make sure to implement the best practices and quality of services of childcare and to hire only the most experienced and internationally certified teachers and staff. We also adopt an early educational curriculum to develop the children's skills in a safe, stimulating and child-friendly environment to learn through play and exploration, making sure the precautionary measures are followed, stressing on the value and effectiveness of the management roles at Basateen Preschool Centre.

A number of events and activities organized by Basateen Preschool Centre over the past years, including national events, sports and recreational activities were presented during the ceremony.

The educators at Basateen Preschool Centre nurture children and care for them before they start their kindergarten years and instill in them the basic behavioral skills. They also focus on teaching them the Arabic language, basic mathematics and reading the Holy Quran. Basateen is also considered a hub for creativity and a safe environment for the children, encouraging them to learn and explore under the supervision of experienced specialists.
