The attendees enjoyed the creativity of talents, whose ages ranged between 5 and 17 years, as the show displayed multiple artistic individual and group shows featuring ballet movements that reflect how the art of ballet transformed them into professional and exquisite ballerinas at Collage Talent Centre.
Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, stressed on the keenness of Collage Talent Center in particular and the club in general to adopt talents and encourage them to become professionals, which is in line with the club's vision and mission to empower girls and women in various fields.
She added, "The annual ballet ceremony has been held every year since its launch in 2001, and it aims to showcase the skills that the participants acquired throughout the year. Graduating students were given certificates after passing the exams of the Royal British Academy of Ballet, being the only talent center accredited by the academy in the Emirate of Sharjah."
She also highlighted several personal and social goals that the ballet programme seeks to achieve, most notably talent development, improving physical fitness, enhancing concentration and self-confidence, increasing flexibility through continuous training, and forming lasting friendships with the ballet family. The programme at Collage Talent Center offers different training levels throughout the year, starting from September and ending in December of the following year.
Collage Talent Center is the ultimate destination for women and children to perfect their creative skills and develop their talents in various fields. The center also includes a library and a salon for mothers and their children. It also offers a number of artistic and learning opportunities that include pottery, drawing, music lessons, cooking, in addition to educational programmes like language learning. The center also offers a programme for tiny talents that encourages children to learn through play and acquire basic skills, in addition to organizing various seasonal camps for children and young girls during the year.
