According to Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Old Cars Club, the club is currently working on expanding its activities and programmes after attaching the Sharjah Museum of Old Cars to the club in accordance with the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Abu Al Zoud highlighted the importance of the decision of attaching the Sharjah Museum of Old Cars to the club in unifying the efforts and system of caring for old cars, which constitute an important legacy that chronicles the developments of many aspects of life through the club’s holdings of old cars, pointing to the reflection of this decision on developing work and enhancing the club’s services and its sports, cultural and social activities in order to achieve its vision of becoming among the region's leading vintage motorsports establishments.
The club represents the emirate at the internal and external levels in sports and hobby of cars and old bikes in coordination with the Sharjah Sports Council.
