Sharjah 24: The fourth edition of the Ithmar Programme, organised by the Sharjah Press Club in cooperation with CNN Arabic, kicked off on Wednesday, and will continue until July 7.

Asma Al Juwaied, Manager of the Sharjah Press Club, announced that the number of affiliates of the Ithmar programme during the past three editions reached more than 60 students, while this year's edition includes more than 20 students.

She noted that the students benefited, on Wednesday, from the experiences and competencies in the Sharjah Government Media Bureau through the job-shadowing programme.

Al Juwaied stated, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the affiliates were trained in photography, writing, and voiceover recording, in addition to their visit, on Thursday, to the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s studios to learn closely about how to create media content.
