Sharjah24: The Sharjah Press Club of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, in cooperation with CNN Arabic, launched the 4th edition of the Ithmar program, which aims to familiarise participating students with the skills of media personalities, Being held from June 29 to July 7. Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing Asma Al Juwaied, Director of Sharjah Press Club , who spared no efforts in shedding light on the event.

Asma Al Juwaied, confirmed the start of personal interviews for the candidates in the Ithmar program to select the final participants. The students are selected according to conditions and criteria that reflect their readiness and interest in the program. These interviews will continue over two days, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at Al Majaz Theater in Sharjah.

In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Asma Al Juwaied highlighted the keenness of the Sharjah Press Club to increase the number of participants in the program to 25 students, due to the increase in the number of nominations to 71 nominations for the 4th edition, compared to 51 nominations for the 3rd edition last year.

Asma Al Juwaied added that the Ithmar program focuses on several training topics, including creating visual media content, distinguishing between correct and fabricated information, and using infographics to tell news stories. The program will also include a schedule for visiting the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and Cartoon Network.
