SCC passes audit phase of int'l standard in quality mgmt system

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) has passed the procedures of the periodic follow-up visit to the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification, succeeding in the audit phase that concluded last week and included all departments and sections of the SCC's General Secretariat and dealt with all its work.
This passing comes as a continuation of the SCC's efforts to implement the highest standards of the requirements at an international level, since obtaining it in 2017, and continuously, as part of the SCC's commitment to activate its parliamentary competence in all its fields of work and the requirements of the past and future phases.

His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), stressed that obtaining the continuity reflects the keenness of the SCC and all its departments and sections through human cadres to work according to the highest standards, as well as promoting excellence in performance and development of services and continuous improvement in various parliamentary processes, which are the core of the SCC’s work in applying the international standards.

His Excellency commended the various roles played by the departments of the General Secretariat of the SCC in implementing the requirements of the standard to ensure its renewal through the external auditor, which translates the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
