Sharjah 24: The visiting delegation from the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) of the Sharjah Police praised the "Museum of the Future" as an architectural masterpiece and a scientific and intellectual platform that attracts under its roof ambitious people who aspire to study and build a more sustainable future through their tireless work in pursuit of generating innovative solutions for tomorrow and creating ideas for a promising future.
This came within the framework of the visit organised by the ERPD for its employees to the Museum of the Future in Dubai, which comes as part of the plans developed to see the future directions of the UAE for the year 2071 and to raise the happiness of employees and enhance the practices of quality of working life in the work environment, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and benefiting from successful and exceptional practices.
The visiting delegation was headed by Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD), accompanied by a number of officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals from the department's staff, which numbered 30 employees from different departments and centres.
The delegation toured the various sections of this architectural edifice, its unprecedented interactive platforms, and enjoyable experiences that enrich the senses, integrate science and technology uniquely, and make the visitors part of future foresight and perceptions in various areas of innovation in health, education, smart cities, energy, transport and the future economy through its specialised laboratories.
At the end of the visit, the delegation was briefed on a platform to display the innovations of leading international technology companies. It is worth mentioning here that the Sharjah Police is constantly keen to provide its employees with the opportunity to learn about the best experiences and practices that enhance the culture of creativity and innovation and push the work system forward.
