Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police (SP) announces the opening of registration for students wishing to join the "Police Friends" summer programme in its 35th edition, organised by the Department of Media and Public Relations.
This comes in cooperation with the Sharjah Police Science Academy and the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club, in the city of Sharjah and the central and eastern regions, and will last for a month, starting from July 4 to August 4.
Lt. Colonel Mohammed Saeed Al Dhahouri, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Sharjah Police (SP), stressed the keenness of the SP to continue its summer programme every year, in order to enhance the important role of the security and police authorities in building security values for children and youth.
Lieutenant-Colonel Al Dhahouri added that the conditions for registration in the course were determined, which are that the ages of the participants range between 10 and 16 years, and that the participant be medically fit, indicating that the course hours range from 3 to 4 hours per day, except for the weekend.
