Sharjah24: Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA), in cooperation with the Sharjah Police, has made an amendment to the times for trucks passing in the emirate, on all the roads allowed for trucks to cross, as of Monday, July 4, 2022, so that the ban times will be from 5:30am until 8:30am, and from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the exception of the following roads: (Sharjah - Al Dhaid Road, Emirates Road and Al Habab Road - Al Madam Road), the ban times will be from 5:30 am until 8:30 am, and the situation remains on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed street as it is, from 12am until 5:30am.
The Authority confirmed that there are valid permits for long periods, and accordingly, coordination with the concerned authorities will be carried out to avoid violating trucks. In addition to ensuring that employees and students of schools and universities reach their workplaces and schools at the scheduled times.

The Authority calls on all truck drivers to abide by crossing the designated roads and obtain the necessary permits, and not to use roads that are not authorised to be used at all.
