Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired the meeting of the Executive Council on Tuesday morning, which was held in the Ruler’s Office. The Council discussed several governmental matters and made a couple of decisions in their regard.
The Council issued Resolution No. (20) for 2022 regarding the adoption of Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) fees, the decision comes within the work to develop the legislative structure of the emirate, and to provide the best services, advantages and incentives.
The Council approved a number of proposals concerned with developing the public transport sector and achieving flexibility in operating buses and vehicles in line with the various changes and developments in the areas concerned with transport.
The Council directed to work to promote the use of modern and environmentally friendly means to achieve the visions and objectives of the emirate aimed at preserving the environment and optimal use of its resources, in addition to providing distinguished services to the beneficiaries of public transport services.
The council was briefed on the plans of the Sharjah Education Council to implement summer programmes and activities aimed at making use of the summer vacation and children's time through various activities that provide interest and entertainment and contribute to the promotion of values and principles.
