Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Security Fund (SSSF) launched the updated fund's website https://sssf.gov.ae/ar, in an ambitious step aimed at strengthening the frameworks of communication and interaction with the concerned sectors, within and outside the Emirate of Sharjah and those covered by social security.
The launch of the new website comes in line with SSSF strategy, which adopts a clear vision and a slogan: “protecting your present to ensure your future”, and raising awareness about its policies and what it offers to all segments, pursuant to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah in providing aspects of care and social security for the insured in Sharjah.
The new website contributes to strengthening the frameworks of communication between SSSF and all government and semi-governmental agencies and the private sector, along with those covered by the social security umbrella.
The website added a calculator that enables the insured to use the smart calculator icon for insurance entitlements, including calculating pensions and rewards.
The website provides access to Law No. (5) on Social Security in the Emirate of Sharjah for the year 2018, in addition to reviewing the objectives of the Fund, the Board of Directors and the Director General, and the organisational structure and services it provides.
The website is characterised by the provision of a new service under the name of the Employer Portal, which is dedicated to all parties that fall under the umbrella of the Fund as well as those concerned.
His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Social Security Fund, confirmed that the launch of the new and advanced SSSF website confirms the Fund's commitment to switching to electronic services, ensuring business continuity, ease of communication, and the services delivery to the concerned institutions and individuals.
His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi pointed out that this qualitative shift comes within the Fund's efforts to implement its electronic strategy and implement innovative services that meet the needs of customers, including adding the smart calculator for insurance benefits, a service that the Sharjah Social Security Fund has been working on according to smart and advanced programming.
His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi added that the calculator enables the insured to perform the arithmetic process to determine their financial entitlements.
Al Shamsi stressed that the services enhance the position of the Fund in light of the financial generosity it provides to all the insured in accordance with the directives of the Ruler of Sharjah, the provisions of the Social Security Law and the continuation of providing distinguished services that save time and effort.
Al Shamsi explained that SSSF website achieves the Fund's mission in working on the presentation of various insurance services with high quality and ensuring social protection under a sustainable insurance system.
