Sharjah24: Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal Al Qasimi has inaugurated the Sports Club (Padelae) in the Emirate of Sharjah, which is the largest of its kind in the UAE. The club includes 13 indoor and 3 outdoor playgrounds, in addition to treatment rooms for players. The club also provides all services and facilities.
The club includes many different facilities such as changing rooms, private parking, valet parking, a café and an exchange store, and there is also a cryotherapy center, and the club can accommodate more than 400 people to watch different matches, bringing the total number of stadiums for the club distributed over the Emirate of Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi 32 stadiums.
The club is also supervised by a group of qualified coaches with distinguished experiences, which contributes to the improvement of the services provided by the club to suit the needs and requirements of the players and the public.
Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal Al Qasimi toured the new club, inspected the club's facilities and halls, and presented prizes to the winners of the final tournament that took place on the occasion of the club's official opening.
Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Padel Federation, said that the padel is a unique game and a beautiful sport, and it has highlighted several stars since its presence here, and in fact we are making all our efforts to reach the world through it.
On his part, Issa Hilal, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, said, “We are pleased to be at this event related to the opening of the Al Padel Tennis Club in Sharjah, and this beautiful building that constitutes an added value to this growing sport and the country.”
He pointed out that the club has everything that the player and the public need, which constitutes a great motivation for people to play and enjoy this beautiful game, as it is a competitive and recreational sport at the same time.
He explained that the opening ceremony witnessed a remarkable turnout from the public, visitors and fans of the new game, which enjoys admiration and demand from the public to learn about it and practice it.
