Sharjah24: The Department of Collective Games at Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) succeeded in hiring Egyptian coach Ahmed Omar to lead the first basketball team in the new season 2022-2023, to succeed national coach Abdel Hamid Ibrahim.

It is noteworthy that coach Ahmed Omar, who has a distinguished resume that extends to 17 years of working in the UAE Basketball League, has great experience and full knowledge of all players in the country, as he previously led the top clubs, beginning with the youth team (formerly), Al Wasl and Al Nasr And his last experience was with Al-Ahly youth, with whom he won a triple last season, in addition to achieving many local and foreign achievements and titles with various state clubs.
