'Sharjah Powerboats' ready for Formula 1 in France

Sharjah 24: The delegation of the Sharjah Powerboat Team (Formula 1) of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club left from the Emirate of Sharjah to the State of France to participate in the inaugural round of the F1 World Boat Championship, which will be held on 3 and 4 June.
The team's delegation includes Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, Finnish racer Sami Sileo, Dutch racer Ferdinand and the racer Mana' Al Marzouki.

For his part, Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, stressed that the participation of the Sharjah team stems from the club’s keenness to continue the team’s international participation in various world championships.

He pointed out that the team is fully prepared and keen to start early preparation for the championship in order to confirm the readiness and fitness of the contestants before the start of the first rounds in France on Friday.

The Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club expressed his wishes for the team to win more medals as usual every year, and continue to achieve victories and distinguished numbers. 

He also wished success for the Abu Dhabi team participating in the championship, which won the championship title for three consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2019, and seven times since 1997.
