Sharjah Awqaf commemorates the memory of benefactors

Sharjah24: Sharjah Department of Awqaf has launched a series of video episodes from the programme (Waqif's Story), where the episodes include the stories of the endowers and their quest to do good, with a detailed account of each story from the start of endowment documentation to the end, narrated over 10 episodes.

Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department, stated that the issuance of “Waqif Story” series highlighting on the life of great benefactors in honour and appreciation for their generous contribution, and in perpetuating the inspiring stories for future generations.
