Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Cultural Affairs Department at the Department of Culture in Sharjah, opened the exhibition of Sudanese artist Ahmed Al Tayeb Al Hajj at the Emirates Fine Arts Society, in the presence of Salem Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Society, and a number of Emirati and Arab artists.
The exhibition, that includes 50 artworks, will continue until the fifteenth of June at the Society headquarters in the Heart of Sharjah.
The Sudanese artist, Al Tayeb Al Hajj, expressed his happiness of the Society hosting his exhibition.
Al Hajj added that the UAE welcomes various types of arts, and this enriches all residents of the UAE and has positive impact on the visual arts. He said that he is very proud to be part of this rich cultural landscape.
The exhibition reflects the goals of the Emirates Fine Arts Society in welcoming all artists, and its keenness to hold exhibitions and provide art workshops to exchange experiences between artists and members of the society.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al Tayeb Al Hajj is one of the most prominent Sudanese artists, and his works are influential because of their unique creative style.
