Sharjah 24: Coinciding with the “International Day of Living Together in Peace”, a number of visitors to museums affiliated with the Sharjah Museums Authority stressed the importance of museums in enriching cultural diversity, which contributes to building a direct and close relationship with different cultures, which enhances a civilised dialogue and leads to the consolidation of the concept of coexistence, peace and rapprochement between peoples.
The visitors explained that museums are one of the most prominent platforms that spread peace between different peoples and cultures, through their pioneering role in informing visitors about the civilisations, history and human role of nations, in addition to their pivotal role in expanding the horizons of their visitors and providing them with a rich source of information.

Pakistani visitor Ashiq Abdul Qadir affirms that museums are his first destination when visiting any new country, believing that they are not just buildings and exhibits, but gateways to the civilisation and culture of countries, explaining that this helps him to learn about the customs of the host country and understand the differences that exist between people from another country. On the country's culture and historical legacies.

Tunisian visitor, Mehdi Broungi says that being a tourist guide, hr always sees signs of curiosity and fascination on the faces of tourists when they see a certain item. He added that museums dissolve barriers and stereotypes that form in many people, as they give realistic and tangible examples of civilised achievements that tell the stories of their peoples.

As for South Korean Kyung Mi An, she points out that the visits she makes to museums are considered keys to human communication, which leads to raising her awareness on the similarity that unites humanity by watching human history in museums around the world, explaining that everything that is displayed in museums give the visitor the opportunity to realize that there are much more similarities between people and diverse nationalities than there are differences.

It is worth noting that the museums supervised by the Sharjah Museums Authority are qualified environments to receive all segments of society, including individuals, families, the elderly and people with disabilities, in order to contribute to expanding the target audience and involve them in the artistic and cultural scene, raise their awareness and draw their attention to the value of the human heritage that the various exhibitions and pieces of art tell.
