Sharjah 24: As part of the activities of the 13th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah organised a reading session on the chapter “To my sons and daughters with greetings” from the book “Essential Messages” by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah (SCFA).
His Excellency Ayman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, and Aisha Al-Khaja, member of the Sharjah Municipal Council, former Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, participated in the reading session, moderated by Fatima Al Zaabi, media and publishing specialist in the Family Development Department, in the presence of a large audience of visitors to the festival.

The session stressed that the words of the book include deep feelings, which confirms the interest and keenness of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher on the new generations, who will drive development, through the messages full of love and peace.

Her Excellency Aisha Al Khaja said that when she first read the book, she felt happiness and love, whereas the messages carry powerful meanings such as motivation and perseverance to succeed.

Her Excellency Aisha Al Khaja confirmed that Her Highness' belief that young people are the leaders of the future, prompted her to allocate half of the book to them. She said that Her Highness added a new psychological structure to what the Emirate of Sharjah has built more than 40 years ago, so it is necessary that this book reach to all young people through family, school and universities.  Her Excellency Aisha Al Khaja stressed that since the publication of the book, a message was published, on social media, on a daily basis, and young people responded by republishing and discussing those messages.

His Excellency Ayman Al Barout emphasised that the book messages establish a foundation for generations through which institutions and all parties interested in youth can work, which confirms that the book "Essential Messages" is a treasure whereas it seeks to build the child through the values.
