Sharjah 24: Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR), represented by the “Waffer” programme for discounts, renewed the joint cooperation agreement with Skyline University College, in an effort from both sides to provide wider options in educational services and in support of the educational attainment of Waffer card holders and their families, and an important aspect for training staff in the Government of Sharjah.
The renewal of the agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Chairman of SDHR, and His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Anirat, President of Skyline University College, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Salem Al Mashwi, Director of SDHR, Jawaher Seif Al Oud, Director of SDHR Events and Activities Office and Director of the Waffer Programme, and Muhammad Sultan Al Hajri, Head of Human Resources Department in SDHR, Nitin Anand, Vice President, Founder and Executive Director of the College, Firas Al Tabbaa, Deputy Director General of Public and Government Relations at the College, and a number of officials from both sides.

The current cooperation agreement was distinguished from previous agreements by increasing the discount rate from 30% to 35% for all students, and by 50% for those with an average of 90%, and these discounts include those who wish to join the college to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Students will continue to receive the discount rate offered upon registration regardless of the cumulative average. The agreement also encourages the development of human resources, through the implementation of specialised and professional qualification and training programmes for Sharjah government employees.

The agreement grants "Waffer Card" holders exclusive discounts on tuition fees for bachelor's and master's programmes at the start of registration, according to the specified conditions.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim stressed that the continuation of cooperation in renewing the agreement with Skyline University College reflects the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who urges building the human being first by providing science and knowledge that forms the solid foundation for civilised societies.
