Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for being elected as President of the UAE by the Federal Supreme Council during its meeting Saturday morning at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi said that the appointment of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the UAE by the members of the Federal Supreme Council is a great support of the nation for his courage, stances, thought and his wise vision that has been clearly evident in all fields locally and globally.

He added that the achievements made by the UAE throughout its path are hardly devoid of the imprint of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was raised by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE and contributed, during his work with the leaders of the country, to advancing it leading positions.

Sharjah Crown Prince  congratulated His Highness the President of the UAE and prayed to Allah the  Almighty to grant him success in the trust placed in him and great responsibility entrusted to him, adding that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the best successor to a great predecessor, and we affirm the continuation of sincere work for the sake of the United Arab Emirates under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
