Sharjah 24: At the Arab Travel Market (ATM) 2022, a major exhibition for the region's travel and tourism industry that attracts a large number of visitors, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Khalid Jasem Al Midfa, confirmed that after the event's hiatus, the authority is participating with a distinguished pavilion.
More than 1,200 exhibitors from across the world are participating in the exhibition, which is open to professionals from both inside and outside of the nation.

He explained to "Sharjah 24" that Shurooq has revealed plenty of important tourism-related projects, including eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and infrastructure development, all of which will help the Emirate's airport, museums, and hotels gain a stronger foothold in the global tourism market.

According to Al Midfa, the number of hotel guests in the Emirate of Sharjah grew by 26% in the first quarter of this year, which is a promising sign, and the authority, in partnership with its partners, is looking forward to even greater success and growth in the Sharjah tourist industry.
