Al Dhaid Fort hosts a 5-day ‘Celebrate in Al Dhaid’ event

Sharjah24: Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), confirmed the launch of the activities of "Celebrate in Al Dhaid", organised by the SCTDA in cooperation with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, in Al Dhaid Fort.

Running from March 2 to 6, The event includes a light show on the front of the fort and is accompanied by many activities.

In an exclusive interview with "Sharjah24", Al Midfa indicated that the event promotes the fort, which is a historical and archaeological fortress built in 1820 AD during the reign of then Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and reflecting the legacy of the region through ancient antique.
