Sharjah 24: Muwailih Suburb Council in Sharjah, of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA), organised a number of events amid a great participation of the community during Eid Al Fitr.
Muwailih Suburb Council congratulated the leadership and people of the UAE on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, and called on the people to exchange their congratulations by launching a social initiative, the first of its kind in the field of communication, aiming at achieving the goals of compassion and interdependence between individuals and the people of the suburb.
The activities that will continue over the coming days carry the initiative “Assakumm min Awada” (Many happy returns), which aims to congratulate Muslim worshipers on the blessed Eid Al Fitr by receiving them at the mosques of the suburb with coffee, dates and oud oil.
His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, Chairman of Muwailih Suburb Council, stressed the keenness of the Council, through its members and committees, to communicate with the people and to put forward initiatives in the context of the gradual return to life from the repercussions of Corona and the importance of strengthening communication with the people and society.
His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid pointed out that the council has strengthened the achievement of its goals by introducing the “Assakumm min Awada” initiative, which coincides with the feelings of joy in the Arab and Islamic world and the feeling of happiness among all parts of society in the coming days of Eid Al Fitr.
