Sharjah24: The "Health Crescent" campaign, launched by The Health Promotion Department (HPD) of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, continues through its social networking sites, its awareness activities and educational programmes provided to members of society, in light of the demand to participate in scientific lectures and see the most prominent health and nutritional guidelines to be followed during the holy month of Ramadan.
Since its launch on the second of April, the campaign has witnessed the organisation of many innovative initiatives, most notably the holding of awareness lectures and virtual sessions presented by a group of doctors and specialists in the health and nutritional fields from inside and outside the country, as well as the publication of 30 healthy nutritional recipes.
Her Excellency Iman Rashid Saif, Director of the Health Promotion Department, confirmed that the campaign comes within the framework of the department’s commitment to provide well-studied educational programmes targeting all groups.
The "Health Crescent" campaign, whose activities will continue until the end of Ramadan, witnessed the organisation of many awareness competitions through the administration's social media sites, in addition to distributing one million bottles of Zulal water in support of the campaign, in addition to publishing an electronic booklet that includes healthy global food recipes.
