Sharjah24: Stemming from its keenness to extend security and safety throughout the emirate, the Sharjah Police General Command announced the completion of its security, traffic and preventive preparations and measures to welcome the 27th night of Ramadan and the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
This came during the meeting held at the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, headed by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in the presence of a number of directors of departments concerned with leadership.
Comprehensive security and traffic plans prepared for the night of 27 Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday were discussed , by the competent departments, where it was revealed that 316 military and civilian patrols were allocated, and that they were running in all areas and main streets in Sharjah, and the eastern and central regions, and the regulation of traffic in all fields, in order to maintain calm, fluidity and order in general.
His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer pointed out the importance of properly parking vehicles and limiting random parking during Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers, and Eid prayers.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police called for the response of members of the public to the special directives and adherence to the instructions and advice aimed at providing public safety and creating an atmosphere commensurate with religious rituals during the blessed nights of Ramadan, and festive occasions during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, in addition to taking precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of the virus.
