Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) achieved a new historical achievement in karate at the state level, and the team won 6 titles out of 7, in the General Karate League Championship "group kata", for the age groups, in the championship at the Club’s gym in Al Hazana and lasted for two days.
On this occasion, Eng. Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, Board Member and Head of the Individual Games Department, gifted the achievement to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, his Crown Prince, and his two deputies, for the unlimited support that sport enjoys in the emirate, indicating that the result is a culmination for the efforts made by all sides, including the technical and administrative staff, praising the heroic performance of the club’s players, which ensured the achieved success.
Al-Hajri explained that the results achieved by the individual games in the Sharjah Club are a translation of the plans and strategies that the Sharjah Sports Council has been developing for the development of individual games in the emirate in general and the Sharjah Club in particular, stressing that the karate team has been achieving outstanding results in recent years.
