Sharjah 24: In the fifth episode of the religious programme "Ramadan Sermons", Sheikh Salem Al Doubi, Head of the Preaching Section at Sharjah's Department of Islamic Affairs, confirmed that fasting is something that is not found in many acts of worship.
Dr. Al Doubi’s statement came during the fifth episode of “Ramadan Sermons” programme, broadcasts at 10 PM on “Sharjah 24” website and social media platforms during the holy month of Ramadan.
In his statement, Dr. Al Doubi spoke about the month of Ramadan, saying: Did you know, my fasting brother, that fasting is something that is not found in many acts of worship, a good deed shall have ten times as much to one’s credit, but in fasting, the reward of the fasting person is from God Almighty, as He says: All the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for them except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.'
