Sharjah 24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, organised, on Friday, its Ramadan session to celebrate the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, in a statement of the vision of the United Arab Emirates as it proceeds with honourable steps and positions in its humanitarian work and continuous initiatives.

The Ramadan Majlis was titled “Zayed the Heart of Humanity”. The Majlis was attended by Sheikh Mohammed Muaded bin Howaiden; Rashid Al Mahyan, head of the Parents’ Council in the Central Region; Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary General of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah; Humaid Al Abbar Al Shamsi, member of the Federal National Council; Sultan Ali Saif Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Mleiha District, and members of the board of directors of the club and a large group of invitees, dignitaries, and  families.

Dr. Khawla Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, spoke about the humanitarian aspect of Sheikh Zayed, may his soul rest in peace, who extended his support to women who made many achievements forming Zayed’s legacy and taking the UAE women to the top in all disciplines.

Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairmanof the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, spoke about the role of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, in preserving man as a human being and his identity, heritage and customs by tracing his path that began early in his establishment of the Al Ain Museum before the establishment of the UAE and his keenness to preserve heritage.

Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Arabic Language Educational Centre for Gulf States (ALECGS) in Sharjah, talked about Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's interest in education and made it an important priority in his life because of his belief in the importance of education in building man on the land of this country.

His Excellency Muhammad Sultan Al Khassouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, praised the attendees and the discussed topics by the speakers and their interventions, which highlighted the role of the late founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in his support of people everywhere and his continuous efforts to provide a helping hand For the peoples of the earth as well as his achievements in the UAE.
