Sharjah24: Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD) organised the founding program "Performance Development System" for the employees of Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA), in light of their training needs, as part of a series of foundational programmes implemented by the Department for the employees of the Government of Sharjah, to enable them to perform effectively and productively to achieve the objectives of the employer with the highest possible efficiency.
The programme discussed the concept of defining stress at work and the factors affecting its formation and how these pressures are formed. It also touched on introducing employees to the causes of work stress and the health and psychological damages of such pressures in the work environment, identifying their indicators and their impact on the work environment.
At the end of the programme, the participants learned about the ten priorities for dealing with work pressures, and the institution's role in the employee performance development system within a development and training plan to improve the work environment.
