Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) celebrated the activities of the World Health Day on April 7, in the interest of the Department to contribute to spreading awareness among its employees on such occasions. The World Health Day activities included several activities, including sports competitions and free examinations.
Imran Ali from the Department of Public Relations in the department said: Sharjah was and still is a global model by providing a healthy environment and promoting community health awareness. These awareness events and activities seek to instill a healthy culture and enhance awareness of the most important disease problems, noting that health education is a collective responsibility for Everyone, especially since we live in a developed country that reflects Sharjah's ambition as a healthy city.
He added, the occasion comes this year, and the UAE has succeeded in crossing to the stage of full recovery from the repercussions of Covid-19 at various levels, after a series of exceptional measures in which it harnessed all the resources and tools necessary to overcome the most difficult stage.
