Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command achieved the first positions in the field of forensic evidence and criminology, and in the field of police dogs (K9), as part of the World Police Summit Awards 2022, which was launched by Dubai Police last March, at the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo 2020 Dubai, with global participation.
Sharjah Police won the first place in the award for the best expert in the field of forensic evidence and criminology, which was won by Colonel Naji Al Hammadi, and also won the first place in the award for the best unit for police dogs (K9) by inventing the “sniffer dog activity detection” device.
Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Sharjah Police confirmed that this victory reflects the progress achieved by the Sharjah Police in addition to its series of security and police achievements at various levels, which reflects the leadership's support and empowerment of its distinguished cadres by adopting their innovations and working to translate them on the ground.
