Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Municipality has launched an inspecting campaigns since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, and it will continue until Eid Al-Fitr for many markets and restaurants.
Public health inspectors in Al Hamriyah Municipality intensified inspection campaigns on all sites in Al Hamriyah, and 128 inspection visits have been carried out so far, with the aim of tightening control over the health and preventive measures followed, and ensuring that all food establishments in Al Hamriyah meet health and food safety requirements, and adhere to prevention requirements.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, confirmed that the municipality, through its specialised departments, municipal inspection teams, and health and food control; launching inspection campaigns, it seeks to ensure that food establishments meet the requirements for preparing, transporting, selling and storing foodstuffs, as well as ensuring food safety during the holy month, upgrading health standards and the commitment of sales outlets and their employees to the health requirements that must be observed.
Al Shamsi pointed out that the objectives of the inspection campaigns in Al Hamriyah Municipality during the holy month of Ramadan are to ensure compliance with food safety standards for foods, inspect their storage, preparation, methods of cooking, preservation and transportation, and to ensure that workers in food establishments adhere to the highest standards of personal hygiene, and the importance of full commitment to wearing masks and gloves.
