Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Municipality exerted efforts to make employees happy through a series of activities organised at the Municipality headquarters, which coincided with its strategy in developing a sense of institutional belonging and job loyalty.
Al Hamriyah Municipality celebration included a number of events, organising different segments, a workshop outside the framework of work, motivational competitions, distribution of gifts to all its employees, and the establishment of positive initiatives to support the team spirit of all municipality employees from various departments and sections.
The celebration was organised by the happiness team in the municipality and was keen to launch and implement many key events and motivational competitions, distribute gifts to eligible employees, implement the “Happiness Tree” event and provide a “mud preparation” workshop for female employees, in an atmosphere of positivity and happiness.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that the municipality’s celebration of the International Day of Happiness stems from the UAE participation, and in line with the directions of the UAE government, towards raising awareness of the importance of achieving happiness in the life of the individual and all concerned groups, including customers, partners, and employees.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi stressed that employee happiness is one of the most important factors in the success of the work environment, and the teams of Al Hamriyah Municipality are keen to participate in various international events, whereas they are important in achieving community communication, and involving employees in various occasions, in a way that reflects positively on their work.
Al Shamsi affirmed that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah is the father of everyone and has worked for the past fifty years to provide a decent life and prosperity and to harness all capabilities for the sons and daughters of the Emirate of Sharjah.
Al Shamsi explained that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah led comprehensive development in all fields and was keen to achieve the highest levels of success in upgrading the level of services in Sharjah.
Al Shamsi pointed out that the family of Al Hamriyah Municipality congratulated His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the renaissance and progress in the Emirate of Sharjah, and they congratulated His Highness on the fiftieth anniversary of his assumption of power in Sharjah, which made Sharjah a fertile ground for establishing vital projects in various sectors and a destination for advancement and even attracting investments.
Al Shamsi pointed out that Sharjah, thanks to the vision of His Highness, is continuing to achieve more excellence and leadership in sustainable development at all levels for a better future for future generations.
