Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has started distributing 250,000 Iftar meals from the first day of Ramadan until the end of the holy month in more than 30 countries around the world.
This comes in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and state embassies in the capitals of the countries covered by the SCI’s activities and offices.
Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Ali, Director of Projects and External Aid at the Sharjah Charity Internarional (SCI), stated that the Iftar project is among the programmes that the SCI is keen to implement annually at the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan to help the needy and to complement the humanitarian aid.
He added that SCI provides it in several countries around the world, sensing the humanitarian duty that it is committed to, as it is one of the charitable institutions in the UAE that supports others in all circumstances.
