Sharjah 24: Dr. Juma'a Khalifa Al Alili, Deputy Director of the Office of Islamic Affairs in the Central Region, confirmed, within the 6th season of the Sharjah Ramadan programme, episode two, the update of the preventive measures for COVID-19 in mosques.
The update includes the return of the 20-minute time interval between call to prayer and prayer performance, the allowance of Tarawih prayers with a 45-minute duration, as well as night prayers in the final ten days of Ramadan.
The Deputy Director of the Office of Islamic Affairs in the Central Region expressed his heartfelt congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brothers, Their Highnesses, Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the people of the Emirates and the Islamic nation, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a statement to "Sharjah 24," Al Alili mentioned that Qur'an copies would be handed back to mosques, women's prayer sections would be reopened, and water would be provided to worshipers.
