Sharjah24: The Sharjah Press Club of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau revealed the agenda of the eleventh edition of the annual Sharjah Ramadan Majlis, which will be held under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, from 13 to 22 April, with the participation of leading international speakers in the fields of sports, art and content industry.
The first session will take place at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah on Wednesday, April 13, under the title “YouTube and the Equation of Entertainment and Influence” and will host eminent content creators, Mohammed Al-Nahit from Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Raafat from Egypt, and Basil Al-Haj from Jordan. The session will discuss the impact of the YouTube platform through content that combines the elements of entertainment and positive influence in various fields and the factors that ensure the success of the content as well as contribute to the service of society. The session will take up various experiences and ideas that take into account values and constants.
The second session, which will be held at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre on Wednesday, April 20, will discuss the elements that will ensure the continuity of dramatic and cinematic works across generations, and discuss how to leave a long-term imprint on the artistic scene.
The Arts session titled "Transgenerational Art: The Elements of Industry and Survival", will feature the Canadian-Egyptian actor Mina Massoud, the Saudi actor Hassan Asiri, and the Tunisian actor Dhafer Al-Abidin. Journalist Mohamed Maid Al-Suwaidi will moderate the session.
The Sharjah Ramadan Majlis will conclude with the Sports session titled “The Professional Mindset in Football ... Details of the Unskilled”, on Friday, April 22. Roberto Carlos, one of the most popular former stars of the
Brazilian national team and Real Madrid, and Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former player of the Egyptian national team, who has had a professional career in European clubs, will headline the special session.
The Sports session debates the key concepts and principles that a football player must embrace in order to achieve professionalism on and off the field, the criteria and mechanisms that enhance the success of his career and ensure the continuity of his overall growth.
The Sharjah Press Club, a part of Sharjah Government Media Bureau, hosts leading speakers, experts and achievers in various fields from across the region and beyond during the Ramadan Majlis every year taking up various issues and interests of society and region for debate in order to promote greater social awareness, harmony and meaningful dialogue.
