Sharjah24: The Municipal Council of Khorfakkan organised the activities of the monthly cattle and bird market, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, in the presence of a remarkable number of consumers. Mohamed Al-Jawhari, head of the Environment Committee in the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, confirmed that the monthly market for cattle and birds is one of the important outlets that provide optimal opportunities for consumers to purchase their needs, offering many raffles and financial prizes.
In his statements to “Sharjah 24”, he said that the market, which is organised by the Municipal Council on a monthly basis, coincided with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, with the participation of a large number of sheep and birds owners, as well as productive families.
He has stressed that the market witnessed the attendance of a large number of consumers within an interesting atmosphere, lauding the committee’s role in offering many raffles on financial prizes, toys for children and various other activities.
