Sharjah24: His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club (SSC)'s Board of Directors, has highlighted the constant support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, contributing in accomplishing the club’s various achievements during the last period, lauding the club's achievements of individual and group games teams during this season.

His Excellency congratulated the handball and futsal teams after winning the Handball League title and winning the Khorfakkan International Futsal Championship.

He also praised the individual games players for achieving cups and different medals, stressing that these achievements came thanks to the generous support and constant follow-up of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, the first supporter of athletes in all games, extending thanks and appreciation to his Crown Prince and his two deputies.

This came during the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors chaired by His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa and in the presence of members.

The meeting, which was held at the club's headquarters in Samnan, discussed a number of topics on the agenda.

His Excellency Sultan Al-Askar, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, presented a report on the financial situation in the club during the current period, and stressed that the current work is in line with the established plans and approved budgets for each department.

His Excellency Tariq Al Midfa, Head of the Strategy and Quality Department, also discussed the club's organisational structure and the results of the opinion poll conducted for the club's employees.

For his part, His Excellency Mohamed Obaid Al-Hassan, Head of the Collective Games Department, spoke during the meeting about the achievements of the handball and basketball teams in its various stages, thanking the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors for the support and follow-up.

His Excellency Eng. Suleiman Al-Hajri, Head of the Individual Games Department, reviewed the results of the individual games teams and the efforts made to achieve medals at the local and international levels. His Excellency indicated that the Department is in the process of signing partnerships with clubs and centers specialised in individual games from several countries aimed at exchanging experiences, refining and developing talents, as well as preparing players for tournaments.

His Excellency Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Sharjah Investment and Commercial Development Company, also gave a presentation on the club's investment projects and plans to attract sponsors, companies and institutions that support teams in matches.
