Over the past 16 years, the Breastfeeding Counsellors Program has succeeded in training more than 224 female counsellors, as it is keen to graduate experienced counsellors in all ways aimed at motivating mothers to breastfeed, moreover to introducing them to the healthy and safe methods of suctioning and storing natural milk, in addition to introducing the many services provided by the association to its affiliates, family and society in the Emirate of Sharjah,The Breastfeeding Friends Association is a voluntary, non-profit association that has been working under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs since 2004, knowing that it was founded in 1999 by a group of breastfeeding advocates.The association was announced by the Ministry of Community Development under Ministerial Resolution No. (56) for the year 2021.
