Sharjah24: In a bid to accommodate the massive turnout of visitors to the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show and at the request of exhibitors, the Expo Centre Sharjah has extended the working hours of the event on Saturday and Sunday to be from 12 noon until 10 pm.
Organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show saw a high turnout of visitors during the first days of its opening, achieving a high volume of sales that exceeded exhibitors' expectations.
The five-day event hosts over 300 leading local and international jewellery companies and brands from 20 countries.
"The decision to extend the working hours of the exhibition was at the request of exhibiting companies and to accommodate the heavy turnout of visitors, which is yet another testament to the continued success of the event at all levels," said HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Center Sharjah.
He pointed out that Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has greatly contributed to revitalizing the gold trade locally and regionally and supporting business owners and workers in this industry.
It also provided an opportunity for gold lovers to explore the finest jewellery, hottest trends, latest products, special deals and accessories at very competitive prices.
The Lebanese megastar, Najwa Karam, was a guest of honour of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, along with Emirati composer Fayez Al Saeed, the “Ambassador of Melody”, and a number of social media celebrities.
