Abdullah bin Salem inaugurates 49th Watch and Jewellery ME Show

His Highness toured the corridors of the exhibition, which is one of the major events in specialised trade fairs in the region and is organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah and with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry over five days with the participation of more than 300 international companies from 20 countries and a group of world pioneers in the manufacture, design and trade of jewelry and watches, along with dozens of Emirati companies.
During his tour of the exhibition, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem met the most prominent Emirati exhibitors and officials of the UAE companies and the participating foreign pavilions, listening to an explanation about the latest products, technologies and innovative solutions in the gold industry.
The Show provides its visitors with a unique shopping experience in the world of gold and jewelry, as it showcases products like Diamond, gold, platinum and silver jewellery, cut and uncut gemstones, gem sets, branded watches and clocks, packaging and display materials and other related products in the Gems and Jewelry industry.
The event witnesses a wide participation of a number of national pavilions in the field of watch and jewelry industry, which offer visitors the experience of exploring the most luxurious and exclusive designs of gold and diamonds that bear the signature of the most important names in the global jewelry markets, most notably Italy and India, which are participating with more than 100 exhibitors, as well as leading companies and famous brands from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Bahrain, Colombia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Yemen, in addition to dozens of UAE companies.

The inauguration was attended by Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Ruler’s Office; Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi, Director of the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority; Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace; and Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Expo Centre Sharjah, and a number of members of the Chamber's board of directors, senior officials and stakeholders.
