Sharjah24: Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah (DHR) , held a brainstorming session, On Monday at House of Wisdom under the title “Think - Connect – Excellence” , in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, DHR, and with the participation of directors of departments and officials in government institutions and departments in the Emirate.
During the brainstorming lasting for 4 hours , a number of new ideas and themes aimed at developing a culture of performance evaluation and concerned with all aspects that contribute to the factors of improving the work environment were presented.
At the end of the session, the attendees came up with some solutions and outputs that will contribute to completing the presentation of development ideas regarding the performance appraisal system. Five main themes for discussion were presented: (conversational culture, the psychological aspect of the administrative official and the employee, human empowerment, types of communication, initiative and innovation).
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Tariq bin Khadim, Head of the Department, highlighted the great keenness of SDHR in developing services that contributed to upgrading the human resource sector , in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and in implementation of His Highness’s wise directives to harness all the ingredients and capabilities for the renaissance of the human element, which constitutes the basis of sustainable development.
