Sultan bin Ahmed meets with students of Harvard University

Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, met on Friday, a delegation of students from Harvard University, at The Sharjah Academy For Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology.
During his meeting, the president of UoS reviewed the scientific progress of UoS which comes within the strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah in developing education in all its stages, highlighting its extensive international relations with the most prestigious academic institutions in the world that contribute to promoting performance and exchanging knowledge for distinguished students of the university.
The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah stated that the Emirate of Sharjah sets out in its vision for development by shedding light on promoting education, knowledge, technology, health and various sciences, through promoting the human being.
For his part, Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, addressed the great efforts that the University of Sharjah is working on in developing educational levels by upgrading education curricula, as well as paying attention to various activities that contribute to raising knowledge, skills and personality of student in all aspects.
The delegation toured the departments and facilities of the Sharjah Academy For Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology, where they got acquainted with its various sections, models, exhibition, and its planetarium. 
The delegation extended its deep thanks and appreciation to the President of the University of Sharjah , praising the high scientific progress that the University has achieved in various fields.
At the end of the visit, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah presented the shield of the University of Sharjah to the delegation, and took souvenir photos with them.
