The swimming championship included a number of competitions, namely the 50-meter freestyle competition, in which Assistant Muhammad Yousef Al Ansari from the General Department of Police Operations achieved first place, and Major Muhammad Al Midfa from the General Department of Resources and Support Services won second place, and Policeman Ibrahim bin Kamel from the General Directorate of Civil Defense came in third place.
As for the 25-meter diving competition, policeman Ibrahim bin Kamel from the General Directorate of Civil Defense achieved first place, while Major Muhammad Al Midfa from the General Administration of Resources and Support Services achieved second place, and policeman Ayoub Banz came in third place.
Major Ahmed Mubarak Al Junaibi, Head of the Sports and Social Activities Department at the Media and Public Relations Department, stressed the keenness of the Sports Activities Department on an ongoing basis to organise diverse sports activities that contribute to refining the skills of police officers, and improving fitness and endurance.
Al Junaibi expressed his gratitude to the Sharjah Police for their unlimited support and sponsorship of different sports programmes and events to raise the social and sports levels of security officers and to achieve the desired goals.
