Sharjah24: The Human Rights Team at the Sharjah Police General Command organised Wednesday, a dialogue session entitled "The National Human Rights Authority and its impact on police work", which coincided with the Arab Human Rights Day, which falls on March 16 of each year, with the aim of highlighting the efforts that Sharjah Police are doing their best to promote and protect human rights.
The seminar was attended by Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, general directors and their deputies, directors of departments, a large number of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and students of the Academy of Police Sciences, as well as representatives of the concerned authorities in the field of human rights.
Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer stressed during his speech at the beginning of the dialogue session that the UAE is considered one of the pioneering countries in the field of human rights protection, both citizens and residents.
Brigadier bin Amer added that the principles and laws of the UAE that take into account the rights of all residents on its land, regardless of their gender, color and affiliation, made it a destination for those looking for security, safety and stability.
