Sharjah24: Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, witnessed Tuesday, in the presence of the general directors, the sports marathon, which started from the Police Science Academy in Sharjah to the monument of Sharjah, the cultural capital of Arabs, with the participation of more than 100 members of the Sharjah Police, including officers and non-commissioned officers.
This came as a continuation of the activities of the 50th Sports Initiative, which was launched to coincide with the country's celebrations of its golden jubilee, organised by the Sports and Social Activities Department of the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Sharjah Police General Headquarters.
Brigadier Abdullah bin Amer stressed the continuous keenness of the Sharjah Police to organise various sports activities and programmes that encourage its members to practice sports, as it constitutes a major element for the policeman, praising the efforts made in implementing sports activities, which have the effect of creating a kind of challenge and positive competition among its employees.
